We have all been invited out of fear and hiding and into light and freedom. If we do not find rest in the light and love of Father, our only 2 options are to cover the pain are Pleasure or Performance. Addiction isn’t a love for alcohol, pills, food, sex, work, or accolades, it is the inability to find comfort, healing and satisfaction in covenant with Father and family.
We all fight alone sometimes. Why? Here are 3 reasons we choose to handle things on our own. . .

Would you rather struggle and possibly fail alone or get help and succeed?
Many times no one knows we had a struggle until it is over or too late. Fighting alone is waiting to fail, getting help ensures success.
What if you were good at everything? Would you ever be aware that you are not self sufficient? Would you ever get help?
What if weakness is an invitation?
How amazing is it that when I am in relationship being supported and supporting others, my brain tells me everything is OK. When I am disconnected and doing life alone, my brain tells me I am not OK and something is wrong.
